FPALL Local Node

Privacy notice

Last updated: 29 October 2026

FPALL Local Node is operated as a private research utility. This notice explains how it handles data accessed through Google OAuth and Google Drive.

Information accessed

With explicit Google account authorization, the utility may read scientific literature and related files from Google Drive using a read-only Drive permission. It may also create, read, update, or remove files associated with the application under the separate Drive file permission. The app does not request access to Gmail, Contacts, or Calendar.

Purpose and processing

Information is used to support personal research activities, including locating source documents, checking provenance, and preparing research workflow outputs. Data may be processed on the operator's own computers. Application-generated outputs may be stored on the authorized Google Drive account. This website itself does not collect Google Drive files or OAuth credentials.

Sharing and retention

Google Drive data accessed through the utility is not sold or used for advertising. The operator controls retention and deletion of locally stored research copies and application output files. Files stored on Google Drive remain subject to the user's Google account settings and Google policies. Third-party infrastructure, including Google Drive and the website host, processes technical data under its own terms.

Control and revocation

The authorized user may revoke the application's Google account access at any time through Google Account security settings. Files previously created or downloaded may require separate deletion from the relevant storage location.
